Our FILO ESTILO blankets are made from 100% premium polyester. They are easy to wash and easy to care for with a few helpful tips.

– Wash in warm water, but no warmer than 100 degrees Fahrenheit (40C). Cold water also works well. 

– Machine wash on a gentle cycle. Often it is the high spin cycle, that causes fabrics to shrink. 

– Use a mild detergent, but please no bleach or fabric softener.

– Wash the blanket on its own and not with other clothes or textiles. The lint from other fabrics may attach itself to the sherpa or microfleece, making it look dirty. 

– The blanket can be tumble dried or air dried. Either work fine. 

– If tumble drying, use on the lowest possible heat setting – again, no more than 100 degrees and dry the blanket on its own with no other clothes or fabrics.

– Remove the blanket from the tumble dryer straight away, to avoid creases.

– If air drying, we suggest laying over a clothes horse, as flat as possible to avoid creases and to allow air flow. The blankets dry quickly.
